Home Alone was released in 1990, shortly followed by the (in our opinion) almost equally as brilliant Home Alone 2 in 1992. The years fly past and sometimes you find yourself wondering 'what happened to the cast of Home Alone'?

Macaulay Culkin

Macaulay Culkin played the lead role in both Home Alone movies and was only 10 years old when filming the first one. The huge success of the movies and fame received began to take it's toll on the young actor who struggled with addiction through his young adult life but has since been clean. He's been in a committed relationship with Brenda Song since 2017 and on 5th April 2021 the couple welcomed their first child, a girl named 'Dakota' into the world.

Having recently appeared as a rather frightening gangster character in 1990 movie `Goodfellas`, the `bad guy` role in Home Alone fitted perfectly. Joe went on to appear in similar roles in movies such as Casino in 1995. Most recently he appeared in 'The Irishman' in 2019 alongside Robert De Niro and Al Pacino which reunited the 3 gangster movie legends.

Devin started his acting career at the age of 9 and appeared as a child actor in various movies before his acting pinnacle as Kevin's horrid older brother in Home Alone. He went on to appear in many other roles, most recently in 'Hustlers' alongside Jennifer Lopez and Cardi B. He's been accused of domestic abuse in the past although not convicted and is currently under investigation for an alleged rape that occurred in 2017.

John Heard was a seasoned actor appearing in a number of successful fields before landing the role of Kevin's father in Home Alone. He went on to act in many more roles for popular shows such as Prison Break and The Sopranos before sadly passing away at the age of 71 of cardiac arrest due to heart disease.

Kieran Culkin is Macaulay's two year younger brother who starred as Kevin's younger cousin in the Home Alone movies. Kieran is one of the main cast of HBO series 'Succession' where he plays character 'Roman Roy'. He has been nominated a Golden Globe award for his role in this show.
