Naughty or Nice – The Truth Game

✅ Step 1: Gather Supplies

You’ll need:

• Small slips of paper (or sticky notes)

• Pens or pencils

• A festive bowl, basket, or stocking to collect the notes

✅ Step 2: Explain the Rules

Tell everyone to write two things on separate notes:

1. One “Nice” thing they did this year

2. One “Naughty” thing they did this year

✳️ They must not sign their name!

✅ Step 3: Use Prompt Examples (Optional)

Display or read aloud some examples to get people thinking:

😇 Nice Examples:

• Donated to charity

• Let someone go first in line

• Sent a kind message

• Cleaned the house without being asked

😈 Naughty Examples:

• Ate the last mince pie and blamed the dog

• Re-gifted a candle I didn’t like

• Peeked at my presents early

• Pretended to be sick to skip a party

✅ Step 4: Collect & Shuffle

Once everyone has written their two notes, fold them up and pop them into the bowl. Give it a good shake!

✅ Step 5: Read & Guess

1. Pick a note and read it out loud.

2. Everyone guesses who they think wrote it!

3. After the guesses, the true author reveals themselves.

4. Repeat until all notes are read!

✅ Step 6: Laugh, Gasp & Share

This part is the best—watch the reactions, laugh together, and enjoy the surprises. It’s especially fun with a bit of mulled wine in hand! 🍷
