Lidl's Freeway Cola Truck Brings Budget-Friendly Festive Magic to the UK with Gifts, Treats, and Holiday Wishes

This Christmas season, Lidl is hitting the road with its very own ‘Freeway Cola Truck,’ a 15-tonne, 20-meter-long red truck inspired by their signature Freeway Cola. While some might draw comparisons to the iconic Coca-Cola holiday trucks, Lidl’s twist on festive touring promises to deliver a unique holiday experience with a focus on budget-friendly joy and wish-granting magic.

Tour Dates and Locations
The Freeway Cola Truck tour will run from November 14th to December 1st, with stops at nine cities across the UK. Here’s where you can catch the festive truck:
- November 14 - Dundee
- November 16 - Harrogate
- November 17 - Hull
- November 21 - Nottingham
- November 23 - Wolverhampton
- November 24 - Wrexham
- November 28 - Luton
- November 30 - Bournemouth
- December 1 - Southampton
The truck will be at each location from 12 PM to 6 PM, bringing Lidl’s festive magic directly to communities around the country.

What to Expect at Each Stop
At each stop, the Freeway Cola Truck will transform into a holiday wonderland, offering:
- Over 2,000 present boxes filled with Lidl’s popular Middle Aisle items for the first visitors
- A chance to win your Christmas food shop, with 1 in 10 gift boxes containing a “Golden Ticket”
- Festive food samples like Snowmallows, biscuits, and other treats
- A “wishing station” where visitors can submit a holiday wish, and Lidl will grant selected wishes
Joanna Gomer, Marketing Director at Lidl GB, said, “By touring nine stops across the country, we’ll be using our giant truck to hand out present boxes, give away festive food shops, and grant wishes that will make dreams come true.”
