The winter holidays prove to be particularly nerve-wracking for Greg Heffley this time around. After unintentionally damaging a snowplow while building a snowman with his best friend Rowley Jefferson, Greg becomes anxious about receiving the coveted new video game console for Christmas. To compound his troubles, he finds himself snowed in with his family, including his grumpy older brother Rodrick and his bothersome younger sibling Manny.
