Disney has unveiled an upcoming animated adventure titled "Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever," the latest addition to the popular book series by Jeff Kinney. This comedic and heartwarming holiday story, featuring the beloved accident-prone middle schooler, is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ on December 8th, 2023.

The winter holidays prove to be particularly nerve-wracking for Greg Heffley this time around. After unintentionally damaging a snowplow while building a snowman with his best friend Rowley Jefferson, Greg becomes anxious about receiving the coveted new video game console for Christmas. To compound his troubles, he finds himself snowed in with his family, including his grumpy older brother Rodrick and his bothersome younger sibling Manny.

Directed by Luke Cormican ("Teen Titans Go!") and produced and written by Jeff Kinney, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever" boasts the vocal talents of Wesley Kimmel ("The Mandalorian"), Erica Cerra ("Power Rangers"), and Hunter Dillon ("Deadpool 2").

This marks the third animated film to be exclusively released on Disney+, following "Diary Of A Wimpy Kid" in 2021 and "Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules" in 2022.

Don't forget to mark your calendars for December 8th, 2023, when "Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever" will be available for streaming exclusively on Disney+.
