Starring Olivia Holt (Cruel Summer) and Connor Swindells (Sex Education), the story follows Sophia, a young woman struggling to make ends meet in London while caring for her ill mother. When she realises her boss, the wealthy and heartless Maxwell Sterling (played by Peter Serafinowicz), is sitting on a fortune, Sophia hatches a desperate plan: a daring Christmas Eve robbery.

But just as she sets her plan in motion, she’s caught by Nick O’Connor, a former security expert who’s also down on his luck. Instead of turning her in, Nick suggests an unlikely partnership — and soon the two find themselves planning the perfect holiday heist amid twinkling lights, festive chaos and unexpected sparks of romance.

Directed by Michael Fimognari (To All the Boys: Always and Forever), Jingle Bell Heist promises a mix of heart, humour and a dash of adrenaline — all wrapped up in cosy Christmas magic. The film was penned by Abby McDonald, whose sharp writing adds plenty of wit and warmth to this modern-day festive caper.

The movie also features Lucy Punch, Poppy Drayton, and Michael Salami, rounding out a strong British-American ensemble. Filmed on location in London, viewers can expect sparkling shopfronts, snowy streets and all the charm of the capital dressed in its Christmas best.

What makes Jingle Bell Heist even more exciting is its pedigree — the screenplay appeared on the 2022 Black List, a collection of Hollywood’s most-loved unproduced scripts, long before Netflix picked it up. With that kind of buzz behind it, expectations are high that this festive heist will deliver both heart-fluttering romance and laugh-out-loud moments.

So mark your calendars — November 26 is the day to join Netflix’s latest holiday adventure, where love, laughter and a little larceny combine for a Christmas movie you won’t want to miss.
