Spirit Christmas is coming to 30 Stores in 2025

What’s new

The company says this expansion nearly quadruples last year’s footprint. To maximize space and staff, several Spirit Halloween locations will convert directly into Spirit Christmas shops once the spooky season ends.

Where they’re opening

The new stores will be concentrated in the Northeast and Great Lakes regions, with early announcements confirming locations in places like Connecticut and Michigan. More openings are expected to be announced as the season approaches.

Why it matters

Spirit Halloween has built its brand on short-term, high-impact retail—taking over empty big-box spaces, filling them with immersive displays, and closing as soon as the season wraps up. Extending that model into Christmas allows the company to get more value out of temporary leases, keep seasonal staff employed longer, and tap into the holiday décor and gift market without running permanent stores.
