There is something very special about a Christmas drink. It only comes out once each year and gives you that Christmassy feeling. Whether you are planning a small get together, a large party or just a drink at home in front of the fireplace.

Eggnog

With ingredients of Milk, Cream, Sugar, Whipped Egg Whites, Egg Yolks and Nutmeg, Eggnog is traditionally consumed over the festive period. A popular Christmas drink throughout Canada, the United States and some European countries, 

While Eggnog is often served chilled, in some cases it is warmed. Alcohol can also be added making it an Eggnog punch. It has been referred to as a dessert flavoured milkshake for grown-ups. It’s been voted an overall Christmas favourite.

Hot chocolate

Nothing says Christmas more than a hot chocolate on a cold winter's night.  There are many ways to make hot chocolate, the most popular are hot milk and cocoa powder. To make it even more mouth-watering you could top it with cream, marshmallows and if you are feeling really festive a flake on top!

Baileys Irish Cream Coffee

On a Christmas morning, there is nothing more relaxing than Bailey's coffee. So simple to make, it's just coffee, baileys, honey and cream. You could always sprinkle a little nutmeg on top. If you like a milky creamier coffee then this is perfect for you.

Mulled Wine

Also known as spiced wine, Mulled Wine is an alcoholic drink made from red wine. It is a popular drink in Europe often served at Christmas markets.

Mulled wine is made from wine, brandy, orange slices, cloves, cinnamon, star anise and 2 tablespoons of sweetener.

Glögg

Glögg is the Swedish version of mulled wine, although similar to mulled wine, different spices are used. The ingredients are wine, sugar, cardamon pods, cloves, cinnamon stick and ginger. Almonds and raisins are placed at the bottom of the glass before the Glögg is added.
