Rumours spread across the internet and social media yesterday after reports in The Sun newspaper spread of a sequel to 'The Holiday' being confirmed.
The director of the movie (Nancy Meyers) and one of the movie stars (Kate Winslet) have shut down these rumours in two seperate instances.
'The Holiday' writer-director Nancy Meyers took to Instagram to debunk the story. “So many DM’s about this – sorry but it’s not true.” she commented.
Kate Winslet seperately shut down the rumours in an interview with People magazine:
"I read something about that, but it’s the first I’ve heard of it,” the Oscar winner said. “I promise you not an agent or a representative or anyone from the first one around has had any conversation with me about that. Hand on heart, that’s never come up.”
