This festive season will include many holiday traditions, including entertainment, parades, Christmas treats, speciality merchandise, sparkling décor and attractions that will be transformed with festive decorations. We take a look at what Disneyland has to offer its visitors at Christmas time.

World of Color - Season of Light 

At Disney California Adventure park, “World of Color – Season of Light” will dazzle with it's Christmas-themed spectacular of lights, lasers, water, fire and hundreds of fountains bringing animation to life. Disney characters materialize on an immense “screen” stretching across the night sky, created by the misty spray generated by 1,200 fountains shooting 200 feet into the air.

Attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

This is a special ticketed event that occurs at the Magic Kingdom evenings throughout November and December. 

It includes a holiday fireworks show, a Christmas parade, holiday photo opportunities, and free treats like cookies and hot chocolate around the park. Only party-goers with a special wristband are allowed on after 7pm so you will receive shorter queuing times.

From 11th November festive fireworks, stirring music and a sprinkling of snow are showing each evening, this can be seen at “it’s a small world” and areas of the Main Street, U.S.A.

This attraction is transformed for Christmas. As you approach, you’ll hear the classic "It’s a Small World (After All)" song playing along with traditional holiday tunes. As dusk begins to fall, gather in front of the attraction’s iconic façade and watch thousands of twinkling lights come to brilliant life.

A Christmas Fantasy Parade

A parade with reindeer, marching toy soldiers, dancing gingerbread cookies and more. There is even a chance to wave at Santa himself.

The castle is decorated with a festive feel including wreaths and icicles. As evening approaches festive music is played and snow fills the air.

EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays – Candlelight Processional

Each night, a celebrity narrator tells the story of Christmas, and a baby born in Bethlehem. Within the production are songs of hope and joy performed by the orchestra and choir. This year's guest narractors include Whoopi Goldberg, Marie Osmond and Gloria Estefan.
