As the Christmas season approaches, it appears that Santa is delivering a new owner to the Christmas Story house and museum.

The present proprietor of one of Cleveland's most recognizable residences, where portions of the beloved 1983 film 'A Christmas Story' were shot, has revealed on social media that the three-acre property has been purchased.

News of this sale emerges nearly a year after the house, situated at 3159 West 11th Street, was put up for sale. The listing extended beyond just Ralphie's abode.

As stated in the original sale listing:

“There is a whole campus here. There’s the gift shop, the museum, Bumpus’ house, some parking lots. It’s really a campus here the owners have developed this into,” - Chad Whitmer with Hoff & Leigh Commercial Real Estate.

The sale is expected to be completed by the end of November, but there are no details of how much the sale may have been.

A note from the new owner has been published though:

“Operations will continue as usual during and after the transition.”

Phew!
