Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly been invited to spend Christmas in the UK, bringing a festive twist to their holiday plans.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, known to have a challenging relationship with the Royal Family, are not expected to join the monarchy for the traditional royal celebrations this year.
While Meghan has not returned to the UK since Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in September 2022, an insider revealed that the couple has been extended a warm Christmas invitation from Harry’s uncle, Charles Spencer, to celebrate with the Spencers at Althorp Estate.

According to the source, "Charles Spencer has invited Harry, Meghan, and their children to Althorp for Christmas. It’s still early to know if they’ll accept, but the invitation is there for them to enjoy a family Christmas at his ancestral home."
The insider added that no invitation has been sent from Sandringham as of yet, and it seems unlikely the Sussexes would attend if one were offered.
Harry’s most recent stay at Althorp, where he attended his uncle’s funeral last month, included a visit to the resting place of his mother, Princess Diana, whose grave is situated on a serene island within the estate’s grounds.
