The stunning Rockefeller Center Christmas tree was illuminated for the 91st time yesterday, officially ushering in the Christmas spirit not only in New York but also across the globe.

The towering 80-foot Norwegian spruce is adorned with approximately 50,000 lights, amounting to an impressive 5 miles of wire. At its pinnacle, a 3D Swarovski star, adorned with 30 million crystals, shimmered in the night sky as the Christmas special reached its conclusion.

New York Mayor Eric Adams played a pivotal role in flipping the switch that brought the tree to life, accompanied by the uplifting sounds of the Young People's Chorus from New York City singing the classic "Joy to the World."
