Netflix has officially announced Man vs Baby, the highly anticipated follow-up to Man vs Bee, and this time, the stakes (and the screams) are even higher.
Set over the Christmas period, Man vs Baby once again follows Atkinson’s delightfully disastrous character Trevor Bingley, whose well-meaning nature and hopeless luck combine to create pure comic mayhem. When Trevor finds himself unexpectedly responsible for a baby — yes, a baby! — during the festive season, everything that can go wrong does go wrong… spectacularly.
The series begins at a chaotic school nativity play, where no one turns up to collect “Baby Jesus.” Through a mix-up only Atkinson’s Trevor could stumble into, he ends up taking the real baby home for what becomes a snowballing series of mishaps. From exploding Christmas decorations to disastrous dinner attempts, Trevor faces his toughest challenge yet: surviving Christmas with a tiny human in tow.
Like Man vs Bee, the show promises plenty of slapstick humour, expressive physical comedy, and Atkinson’s signature knack for turning simple scenarios into spiralling chaos. But this time, it’s wrapped up in twinkling lights, tinsel, and the heartwarming (and heart-pounding) energy of the Christmas season.
Produced by HouseSitter Productions with the same creative team — writers William Davies and Rowan Atkinson, and director David Kerr — Man vs Baby will consist of four 30-minute episodes, offering a perfect bite-sized festive binge. It lands on Netflix on 11th December 2025, just in time to become your new go-to Christmas comedy.
Expect laughter, festive warmth, and a whole lot of baby-fuelled bedlam. With Atkinson back in his element, Man vs Baby looks set to be one of the most talked-about holiday releases of the year.
