There aren't many chocolate bars given as gifts for Christmas that are quite as revealing as to what's inside as the iconic Toblerone bar, but did you know that the logo appearing to the left of the Toblerone wording is not just a shaded mountain?

If you look closely, and it took us a while, you'll see a standing bear in the logo.

If you're still having trouble spotting it, this handy two tone version of the logo will clearly point it out for you.

So what's the bear all about? Well, Toblerone is produced in Bern, the capital city of Switzerland. The word 'Bern' makes up part of the word Toblerone, as pictured. Bern is known as 'The City Of Bears'. From the Bern website:

The city of Bern has had a close relationship with the bear since its foundation. According to legend, the city owes its name to the animal. The bear now appears on flags, fountains, and buildings, and can even be visited in the public BearPark.

To be fair, it's not quite so obvious on this GIANT version is it?
