The internet is buzzing with excitement after a stunning movie artwork titled 'The Christmas Express' does the rounds on social media and teases the possibility of a Polar Express prequel!
The movie posted shows a younger Tom Hanks from the original movie suggesting a prequel to The Polar Express.
Will there be a prequel to The Polar Express?
No, 'The Christmas Express' isn't being released in 2023, nor has it been confirmed at all.
The poster is fan-made and although it's been widely shared on social media, there has been no word from Hanks or HBO on any such title.
What about a sequel to The Polar Express?
Again, there's no word on this at all but a possible storyline that could be explored is Hero Boy growing up, becoming a father himself and seeing the adventure from the other side.
We can only hope that a prequel or a sequel becomes a reality in the future.
