The Santa Clause (1994)

On Christmas Eve, Scott reads "The Night Before Christmas" to his son Charlie. Santa appears on Scott's roof but vanishes, leaving his reindeer, suit, and instructions behind. Rudolph is then accepted and hailed as a hero.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
