Naturists from across the UK are being invited to a Christmas meal with a cheeky twist: attendees will dine in nothing but their birthday suits. The gathering is set for Friday 13 December, 12pm–5pm, at the Mill Arms in Dunbridge, near Romsey (Hampshire), and includes a friendly round of skittles to keep the festive spirits high.
To keep things comfortable for everyone, organisers have booked the pub’s private function room, which comes with its own bar and toilets—so there’s no awkward queuing next to clothed punters. Guests will pre-order a two- or three-course meal, and there are six rooms upstairs for those who’d like to make a night of it. Prefer to head home? Dunbridge & Dean train station is about a two-minute walk from the pub.
The event—run by British Naturism—proved popular last year and is returning by demand, with tickets opening to both members and non-members. A BN spokesperson says it’s a relaxed chance to catch up with old friends and meet new ones in a welcoming naturist setting.
There’s a more thoughtful side to the party too. BN has voiced concerns that fewer young people are taking up naturism, enough that a documentary has been commissioned to spotlight the movement and why it might resonate with a new generation.
Quirky? Absolutely. But as far as we’re concerned, it’s festive, friendly, and full of cheer—and if it brings people together at Christmas, good luck to them.
